Clinical Exercise Physiologist
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Kayla holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Science and a postgraduate degree in Biokinetics. Her background includes working with individuals managing clinical conditions, including cardiac complications, metabolic diseases, musculoskeletal injuries, and stoma rehabilitation. Her combined academic and practical experience has given her a strong foundation in both preventive and rehabilitative care.
Kayla is especially passionate about women’s health. She believes that women face a unique set of physiological, hormonal, and functional challenges, many of which are under-researched and often overlooked in the workplace/clinical practice. Her mission is to bridge that gap by continuing to expand her knowledge and help women better understand their bodies. She’s dedicated to empowering women to work with their hormones rather than against them, to improve overall well-being and performance.
When she’s not in client sessions, you’ll likely find her out for a run, exploring a hiking trail, lifting at the gym, or planning her next travel adventure.
